This 100 kilogram gold coin is made of 99.999% pure gold bullion and has a face value of 1 million dollars. the fluctuating price of gold, its value today is much greater. In 2007, the Royal Canadian Mint in Ottawa produced five of these coins and offered them for sale. In October 2007, the Million Dollar Coin was the fu certified by Guinness World Records to be the world's largest gold coin.
